We are excited to announce the launch of Lirata Training - our new online training program. We offer practical training to boost your impact.

In 2021, for the first time, we are taking our tried and tested capability building workshops online, and opening them up to anyone who is working toward positive social impact.

Our first two modules cover Program Logic, Theory of Change, and Monitoring & Evaluation Frameworks.

Lirata Training

Our online program commences in February and March 2021 with two training modules:

  • How to Develop Program Logic & Theory of Change (Module 1)
  • How to Develop Monitoring & Evaluation Frameworks (Module 2)

Program Logic, Theory of Change and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Frameworks are powerful tools for building effective services and social justice initiatives. We've assisted organisations large and small, across many health and community services sectors, to use these tools to design robust projects and programs, clearly articulate their outcomes, and measure the effectiveness of their work.

Our interactive workshops are delivered in small group settings. Participants use real projects or programs as working examples, with a strong focus on 'learning by doing'. Our facilitators, Mark Planigale and Kate Randall, will guide participants through Lirata's practical processes to develop a Program Logic, a Theory of Change, and key components of an M&E Framework. Drawing on our extensive experience, we will demystify concepts, help participants apply them to their own contexts, and provide clear templates and guidelines for use after the training.

"Fantastic facilitators - very experienced and informed. Patient too! Showed good relationships between Program Logic/Theory of Change and project management" - Lirata training participant, DPV Health
