St Alfred’s Anglican Church in Blackburn North was established in 1962 and supports a growing congregation. In 2018 St Alfred's Church identified a need to review and enhance its corporate systems and practices to meet new legislative requirements, best practice standards and community expectations.

Lirata assisted St Alfred’s to undertake a review of management systems, business processes, policies, procedures and staff structures. The review included desktop review of documentation, interviews and consultative sessions with stakeholders. Lirata provided a gap analysis report and targeted recommendations for improvement, which were developed collaboratively with key stakeholders.

Outcomes

The review has enabled St Alfred's to update its internal systems and processes for effective, sustainable and legally compliant operation into the future. This has allowed those on the frontline of ministry to concentrate on their work supported by sound business systems.
