Gather the insights you need to manage programs and services, improve your work, make key decisions, and advocate for change.

Insights that matter

High quality information is a vital resource for delivering and strengthening social impact work. Our evaluation services help you to understand how your initiatives and services are working, how effective they are, and how they could be improved.

Process, impact and economic evaluation

Our work often combines the three strands of process evaluation, outcomes evaluation and economic evaluation. We will help you design a fit-for-purpose methodology to gather the insights you need and to communicate them to your key stakeholders.

Developmental evaluation

Effective social purpose work requires innovation. Our participatory Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) approaches support you to evaluate pilot projects and to adapt and strengthen them in real time based on what you learn.

Building evaluation capacity

Organisations with strong M&E capacity are able to gather the information they need sustainably, and use it to achieve their goals. We will help you to develop program logics and theories of change, to create Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks and data collection tools, to train staff and to develop a learning culture.

Djirra

As an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, design and evaluation processes have had a long history of being externally imposed and top down. We chose Lirata as we wanted to work with external consultants with the right technical skills but who also understood the importance of participatory processes and relational ways of working. Lirata brought both of these aspects to the Evaluation Needs Assessment and the process and findings they led have set up the foundations for future monitoring/evaluation & learning work at Djirra.

Lirata were a good fit for Djirra and we continue to touch base and see them as accompanying our MEL journey rather than just providing a one-off consultancy product.
